My sister is currently serving in the U.S. Army. She went in right out of high school when she was eighteen and she is now 20 and on a tour in Afghanistan. I have never been so proud to know someone in my life as I am her. She is my rock and just knowing how much she is giving up to defend her country keeps me strong and makes me put my worries aside. She is on a 17 month tour and I pray for her safe return every day as well as the safe return of all the other brave serivcemen and women.
This my son inlaw. He has pulled tours Iraq and Afganistan and he's one hell of a Marine.

He was wounded in action in Afghanistan on September 17, 2009 by an enemy grenade. Sergeant Chicora retired in 2012 after intense recovery and is now a music education major at ECU. My hero. His biggest wish is to return to active duty and continue serving his country and fellow Marines.

1st Sgt, USMC
My dad is an American hero. He does stuff that the average American doesn't think about, to protect the rights that most people take for granted. He is a great Marine, and father. He is currently deployed on a MEU, and is the bravest person I have ever met. I can't wait to see him when he comes home. I love and miss him!

He served overseas in Iraq from 12/2003 to 12/2005. He came back injured and still has problems with his injuries. He is hanging tough and Army Strong. Been very happy since he has been back and is out for good.
John Patrick Long
Patrick has served tours overseas for most of the time that I've known him. Away from his loved ones, he performs as a well respected Marine and has recently been selected for MARSOC. No easy task and I'm so proud of him. He's an excellent leader and he's the guy I could never admit just how much he meant to me. But I'm sure it's more than he realizes. Love You Patrick. xo

Richard Lane Dennis
Sgt. Dennis is not only an (11yr) Veteran of the USMC and Wounded Warrior, he is our heroe. Sgt. Dennis, after becoming a Wounded Warrior, identified deficiencies in the care of Wounded Warriors and their families. This inspired him to found "The Wounded Warrior Program". While still serving on active duty and going through his own struggles as a Wounded Warrior processing out of the USMC he has devoted his free time and money to helping his brothers in arms. Thank You Sgt. Dennis! We cannot tell you how many lives have been touched by your sacrifice. Never below you, Always beside you! ARRUGHA!
Sgt, U.S. Army
Did Mid-East Tod, stayed in Army NG, is going back in Active this month. Having worked with this young man, I can say he deserves a BIG Thank YOU for your Service!
Brian is an awesome son and big brother. Last Christmas he and the rest of his unit, 3/9 India Co. were deployed to Afghanistan. It is great to have them all home this holiday season and we all offer our pryaers to those who are deployed this holiday season. Brian has two younger brothers who look up to him and he serves as a great example to his brothers as well as the rest of family. All of his family are very proud of him and all of those who serve to protect our freedom.
